Zhao Zi Yang's funeral was NOT the headline on SCMP today though it was mentioned in the China section. Well..I wasn't too surprised.

So..a big scare about fire ants that are about to take over Hong Kong..

I signed up for the BigWhiteGuy personals last night. Don't take me wrong, I am not a poacher. Just wanna make some new friends. Happy to know that there're still some people who don't give a shit about things like, brand names and stuff like that. I mean I have nothing against people wearing guccis, but I hate when people consider luxury as the only form of beauty. But honestly I can tell ya after coming back to hk for a while I was gradually being consumed by this consumerisitc culture. it's kinda hard to hold on to your ideals when almost everyone else thinks and behaves in a total different system from yours. if one day you find yourself spending half of your salary on a LV and still worry what others might think, you have been in hong kong long enough.

I love this city, of course. This is my home. This is where I was born and partially raised. Hong Kong is a beautiful city in its own ways, and sometimes I wonder what's the point of trying to imitate other cities in the world. We're not any "Asia's World City" as the government tries to make us believe in, albeit we've enough skyscrapers(actually I really don't get that slogan at all). Well..there's a reason behind everything.
